New executive hire Cunningham will oversee the digital, e-commerce and business development teams of the Smart Tech group at Vodafone, taking on responsibility for driving growth and maintaining e-commerce experiences.

The appointment forms part of a wider vision to improve connections between customers and products and services, with Vodafone recently launching smart GPS tracker device Curve as part of its ‘Designed & Connected by Vodafone’ range.
Joining with over 20 years’ experience across Internet service, publishing and property sectors, among others, Cunningham previously set up the business function at Net-A-Porter as its head of new business, and before this served as a senior consultant at Booz & Company (now Strategy&, part of PwC), as well as vice-president of strategy at AOL.
In addition, Cunningham founded ethical direct-to-consumer clothing business, Loskey, and currently serves as vice-chair of sign and symbol communication charity Makaton.
