Paul Roberts brings over 20 years of experience in leadership and operational management in both start-ups and large enterprises to Trifacta
Trifacta, the data preparation company, has today announced the appointment of Paul Roberts as vice president of EMEA at the Gartner Data and Analytics Summit, effective immediately.
Roberts will be responsible for continuing to grow Trifacta’s customers across the region, which already includes international enterprises across life sciences, financial services and technology such as GlaxoSmithKline, Deutsche Börse, Google and Commerzbank.
This appointment comes after a period of growth for Trifacta globally, with annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth of over 85% in the past fiscal year.
According to Trifacta, it is the only data preparation that supports all the major cloud vendors and as such, saw massive adoption with more than 2X growth in the number of customers and cloud-based revenue across Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure in the past fiscal year.

Driving customer acquisition
Roberts will lead the EMEA team in driving customer acquisition and adoption as the data preparation market continues to mature.
He joins Trifacta with over two decades of experience, where he has overseen business development strategies and the development of client relationships.
Prior to this role, Roberts held senior leadership positions at SAP, MicroStrategy and Cognos. He also holds a Bachelors in Business Studies and Management from Auckland University of Technology.
