Standard Chartered has today announced the appointment of Yuval Illuz as global head, operations — cyber, data, privacy and automation.
He will be based in Singapore and will report to David Whiteing, Group COO of Standard Chartered Bank.
This appointment is effective immediately.
In this new role, Illuz will play a leading role in rapidly improve the Group’s information and cyber security control environment. This will include; driving the adoption of automation and self-service capabilities across the organisation, and looking at ways to improve centralisation and consolidation of teams, processes and technologies.

A track record
Illuz has a proven track record of more than 20 years in technology, IT, cyber security and operations.
He also has extensive experience in managing teams across different regions, delivering interconnected and complex projects, and leading businesses through digitisation and transformation programmes.
In his last role, Illuz was the Group chief information security and trust officer at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
