Cyber security company Trellix — formerly FireEye and McAfee Enterprise — has hired former Iron Mountain executive Kim Anstett as its new chief information officer
As new CIO, Anstett will lead Trellix’s global information and technology systems organisation, which focuses on enterprise extended detection and response (XDR) architecture.
Upon joining the California-native company, Anstett will lead execution of a technology strategy designed to drive efficiency, flexibility and innovation across the business.
Anstett was most recently executive vice-president and CTO at Iron Mountain, leading teams across product development and innovation.
Prior to this, she spent over 20 years in leadership roles at Nielsen, with eight years served as its CIO, focusing on customer value and increased cyber security outcomes.
“My number one priority as CIO is to deliver insights to our business to serve our customers. Second is furthering diversity, equity, inclusion and development for my teams,” said new Trellix CIO, Anstett.
“I am motivated by people, process and technology; and I see a lot of alignment with Trellix’s ethos as a home for soulful work.”
Bryan Palma, CEO of Trellix, commented: “Kim has a proven record of building high-performing IT organisations. No doubt she will do the same at Trellix while also serving as our “customer zero” for our market-leading products.”
