The new product, named the SPC3 Advanced Security Acceleration card, will be added to Juniper’s line of SRX5000 Services Gateways, and is said to offer an 11x performance boost.
The card will aid businesses, particularly service and cloud providers, to meet the high demand of security that comes with developments within multicloud, internet of things (IoT), 5G and the enterprise edge.

To meet this need, the new card is designed to increase its security capabilities as traffic and possible security threats increase via utilising security gateway capabilities and VPN capacity.
