Reporting to Michelle Senecal de Fonseca, area vice-president, Northern Europe, new appointment Sweeney brings more than 20 years’ experience in professional and consulting services to his new role at Citrix.
Having been at Citrix since 2000, Sweeney most recently held the positions of vice-president, professional services and customer success (Americas), and vice-president, worldwide professional services at the software company.
Prior to this, Sweeney worked in numerous consultative roles at Citrix, focusing on service delivery and customer management in manufacturing, telecoms, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, education and government.
The new head of UK & Ireland will succeed Darren Fields, who has been promoted to the role of regional vice-president, cloud networking, EMEA.
