New CTO Sahota will be responsible for managing the growing R&D facility at Advanced, along with driving its technology strategy forward, bringing innovative products and services to market, and driving value for the company’s 25,000 customers.
Sahota joins from Salesforce, where he held various CTO positions and, more recently, served as European lead for its business transformation consulting practice.
Prior to this, Sahota spent over 22 years at Capgemini, notably overseeing one of the company’s largest digital accounts, Royal Mail Group, as well as serving as chief architect for one of the world’s largest outsourcing deals, driving tech strategy and governance of a 160-strong architecture unit.
As part of his role, Sahota will report to COO Simon Short, who joined Advanced from Salesforce in February this year.

The strategic hire follows seven acquisitions for Advanced, as well as the launch of 26 new cloud products, along with the software and services provider investing £32 million in R&D this year.
