The abrupt shift to remote work revealed that companies can no longer rely on outdated IT infrastructure if they want to offer employees a productive work from experience. While the world has seen the rise of Slack for comms and Zoom for video chat, IT also needs a more modern approach — Electric’s acquisition of Sinu reflects this.
Who is Sinu?
Sinu is a pioneer of managed service provider support for IT, including the disruptive unlimited support model which has provided the industry standard in IT service to 175 companies over 20 years. Their experience spans several industries including: Non-Profit, Media & Entertainment, and Professional and Financial Services. Sinu has deep experience in concierge, VIP IT services for its clients which has led to industry leading client retention.
The acquisition
Electric says the acquisition of Sinu will add expert IT support to its deep bench of over sixty IT service professionals. This will provide another step in Electric’s ambition to be one of the top IT providers in the country.
“This deal is an investment in our customers. Sinu has proven that you can deliver top-shelf customer satisfaction to a wide range of businesses in a very repeatable, scalable way. I’m thrilled to partner and inject more of that DNA into all of our solutions here at Electric ,” commented Ryan Denehy, CEO and founder of Electric.
He told Information Age: “Sinu has over 20 years of excellence in providing 5 star customer service. Together with Electric’s national expansion strategy and dedication to providing a first-of its kind IT Platform, the acquisition underscores Electric’s commitment to providing the best IT services in the country.
“As far as the future of remote work, the most successful organisations will be those that are able to establish an IT infrastructure that enables solid business continuity, free from both technical disruptions and business risk.”
Larry Velez, CTO and founder of Sinu, added: “We founded Sinu to deliver overwhelming value to clients through a pioneering standardised, unlimited-support IT Department as a Service. With Electric, we have a partner who is accelerating service delivery through Artificial Intelligence. Together, our people and software will deliver unrivalled service. We are excited to shape an innovative future with the Electric team.”
