The new partnership expansion will involve the availability of BigQuery and SAP on Google Cloud, which will deliver accelerated cloud analytics, while Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) will now be available on the Google Cloud Marketplace.

Because the iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) from Informatica is now available on the Google Cloud Marketplace, Google Cloud customers can now leverage fully integrated deployment and billing, meaning that they can purchase IICS using Google Cloud credits.

In addition, IICS, can now be used to develop, execute and govern SAP data integration to BigQuery from on-premise and cloud-based SAP sources, while BigQuery will now integrate with Informatica Change Data Capture (CDC).

Informatica Cloud service now provides the following features to support BigQuery as a CDC target:

• Ability to switch from batch to CDC mode for changing of DI mapping behaviour when writing only changed data to BigQuery.
• Creation of temporary state tables within BigQuery to ensure accuracy and full data recovery.
• New transformation and expression capabilities for implementing business initiatives into CDC workloads.

Informatica announced its integration with SAP solutions back in May this year, which demonstrated a move to accelerate cloud modernisation.
