Khandpur, who had previously spent 13 years as senior director of product management at Microsoft, is expected to take on the position from the 19th December.
Having overseen the growth of platforms such as Skype and Microsoft Teams in the past, Sinch‘s new CPO will lead his teams from his office in Seattle, near to some of Sinch’s most prominent customers.

He will be bringing with him experience in AI integration, having previously blended AI to enhance conversations between customers and companies, as well as in leadership positions in charge of teams of multiple disciplines.

This news comes not long after Sinch appointed its first Chief Marketing Officer, Jonathan Bean, as well as a new Director of Communications, Jeff Hasen.
Previously known as CLX Communications, the cloud company was founded in 2008 and its headquarters are based in Stockholm, Sweden.
